I purchased a Chest of Drawers from BAM. The product required self assembly. It took me a week to assemble the drawers, I took my time with it and worked on it for a little... Read More bit each day. The assembly process was quite easy. The pieces of wood were carefully marked and the instructions were very clear. I contacted BAM through the WhatsApp line for additional assistance and clarity when needed. They were very responsive and guided me through the process. After a few days my drawers were completed and ready to use. It was a very fulfilling process to see the end product. It is manual labour though as the pieces of wood are heavy and you are required to move them around in order for all the pieces to fit together. Overall I am happy with my purchase. The quality of the wood is solid. I learnt a lot from the self assembly process. My only complaint is that I feel that the quality of the draw runners can be improved. They break quite easily. One of the draw runners broke while I was pushing the draw into the carcass during assembly but I was able to fix it with a pliers. About 2 months later, the draw runners for the last draw broke as I opened the draw fully, probably from the weight of the items in the draw. I now have to replace those which I don't mind doing because I have gained the skill of fitting these in and I can now purchase more heavy duty ones.
